Automated code review, engineered by AxisOps
You've built it using AI. You're now responsible for what it does.
Assure reviews your codebase end to end and tells you exactly where it stands: findings, observations and considerations, in plain English, in a format you (or your AI) can act on the same day.
Writing code is now easy. The bigger picture isn't.
AI can produce working software in an afternoon. Whether that software is safe, dependable and ready for scrutiny is a different question. And it's the one investors, insurers and enterprise customers will ask.
Are you…
A founder heading into a raise?
Your codebase will be pre-checked. Know what they'll find before they do, and fix it first.
A CTO shipping fast with AI tools?
Velocity is up. Get an independent check that quality has kept pace, on every commit that matters.
An MD who commissioned software?
You've been told it's fine. You're not a developer. Get an independent view in plain English.
Selling into enterprise?
Procurement and security questionnaires ask questions your team hasn't had to answer before. Arrive with the answers.
Buying or acquiring software?
Run Assure on the codebase before you commit, whether it's an acquisition, an agency handover or an inherited system.
An agency or dev shop?
Hand your clients independent assurance alongside the delivery, from a name that isn't yours.
How it works
-
Connect your repo
GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or a file upload. This is a read-only sizing scan with nothing retained.
-
Get your price
Fixed, based on size, languages and risk profile.
-
Run the review
Automated end-to-end analysis built and tuned by our senior engineers.
-
Act on the results
A plain-English report plus a machine-readable version to hand straight to your AI tools.
Built for the stacks we know deeply
More languages will follow.

What you'll get
Every review produces a full report: an executive summary, findings grouped by category, file references and a suggested next step for each - plus a machine-readable version your AI tools can work through directly.
Authentication bypass on one route of six
Priority The /export route omits the permission check present on sibling routes...
Test coverage concentrated on mocks
Observation 78% of assertions run against mocked services; the payment path has...
From the sample report - 23 findings across 5 categories
Different by design
There are plenty of automated code scanners. Assure is built to answer a different question - not "what can we flag?" but "what would concern the people scrutinising your code?"
| Typical automated scanner | AxisOps Assure | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Per-seat subscriptions or token-based usage billing - costs grow with your team or your usage, and are hard to predict | A fixed price per review, known before you pay - not your headcount, not a token meter. From £1,500, or subscribe for 4 reviews a year |
| Output | A stream of raw alerts, most of them noise | Weighted findings, observations and considerations, each with a file reference and suggested next step |
| Built by | Generic rulesets, tuned for everyone and no one | Analysis and templates designed and continually tuned by our senior engineers |
| The report | A dashboard you lose when you stop paying | A plain-English report plus Markdown and JSON that are yours to keep and feed to your AI tools |
| When you need people | You're on your own | A senior engineer consultation, discovery workshop or full build, whenever you're ready |
How might prices of other providers stack up over time?
Automated review tools are priced for continuous use by development teams. Assure is priced per review, for point-in-time diligence.
| CodeRabbit | Agiloop | AxisOps Assure | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | Continuous AI review of pull requests as your team works | An AI product-building platform; code review is a step in its own generation pipeline | A whole-codebase review producing a report you can put in front of investors, insurers and customers |
| Pricing model | Per developer per month ($24–$72/seat, billed annually) - a 5-developer team pays c. $1,440–$4,320 a year | Usage-based, per story point of generated code ($0.25–$1.00) - the meter runs as you build | Fixed per review, from £1,500, known before you pay - no seats, no meter |
| What you keep | Comments inside your pull requests | Generated code in your repository | A plain-English report plus Markdown and JSON, yours whether or not you ever pay us again |
Competitor pricing from public price lists, September 2026. Different tools for different jobs. Teams running CodeRabbit day to day still use Assure when a milestone, raise or contract needs an independent answer.
What early users are saying
We ran Assure the week before our seed round. Two of the findings came up in diligence, and we'd already fixed them.
The Markdown report went straight into our coding agent. Most of the observations were resolved the same afternoon.
It told us what our own developers had been trying to say for months, with the file references to prove it.
Why AxisOps?
Engineered, not just automated
Our analysis, weightings and report templates are designed and continually tuned by engineers with 25+ years of delivery behind them.
Security-first
ISO 27001 certified. Read-only access, revoked after the review. Your code is never used to train anything.
More, when you want it
Paid follow-up consultation with a senior engineer, a discovery workshop, or a full design and build on our Microcelium platform.
Questions we often get asked
What access do you actually need?
Read-only access to the repository you choose, nothing else. It's used to size and review your code, then revoked when the review completes. Your code is never retained and never used to train anything.
How long does a review take?
Most reviews complete within 24 hours of you starting them. You choose when the review runs, so you can time it against a particular commit.
Is this a penetration test or an audit?
No. Assure is an automated review of your codebase that reports findings, observations and considerations. It's analysis, not professional advice or certification, and it sits well alongside a pen test rather than replacing one.
What if my codebase is bigger than 250k weighted lines?
We'll be in touch to scope it properly. Everything up to that size is priced automatically from the sizing scan.
Can my AI tools use the report?
Yes, that's the point of the Markdown and JSON versions. Hand them to your coding agent and many observations can be resolved the same day.
What if the review can't complete on my codebase?
You get a full, no quibbles refund.
Anything else?
More questions will be added here as we're asked them. Anything else - ask us directly.
Built on Microcelium
Assure runs on Microcelium, the AxisOps platform our senior engineers use to design, build and assure software. The same platform is behind our fixed-price design and build work.
